In the instance where our Motor Rewinder is not engaged in compressor work, his expertise is available for the repairs and rewinding of three-phase and single-phase motors of all voltages. We also carry out rewinds on Hermetic, Semi-Hermetic and other types of motors (both AC, DC and clutch rewinding).

Quite often the replacement cost of a motor compared to the rewind price makes it more attractive to replace the motor. However, many instances have arisen where downtime of a particular machine is extended because of the inability to supply direct replacement due to design differences or awaiting shipments from overseas or interstate. This is when a rewind of the original motor becomes viable. Indeed, in the majority of instances, a rewind is more economical than replacement.
